Kyle Allen Expected To Play In Week 6
4 years agoWashington Football Team quarterback Kyle Allen (arm) remains sore from a shot he took to his non-throwing arm in the Week 5 loss to the Rams, but he's expected to be good to go in Week 6 against the Giants, barring a setback. Allen was pulled from the game on Sunday because of his injury, but head coach Ron Rivera said that Allen will remain the team's starter as long as he's healthy. Alex Smith, who made his first appearance in almost two years after a gruesome injury that almost cost him his leg, was average in relief of Allen, completing nine of 17 passes for 37 yards for a passer rating of 58.7. He was also sacked six times. Allen will be a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues if he gets another start against New York in Week 6.
