Kevin Pillar Wears Golden Sombrero In Loss
7 years agoHow the mighty have fallen. Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar, as usual, started the 2018 season scorching-hot, but he has seen his production plummet as of late. In an 8-3 loss to the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday, Pillar wore the golden sombrero by finishing 0-for-5 with four strikeouts. It’s worth noting that prior to Tuesday’s disastrous effort, Pillar had picked up hits in three of his last four games. However, he was also hitless in six straight games before that stretch. Pillar still owns a solid .271/.315/.448 slash line on the year, but it continues to drop rapidly. You should still be trying to sell high here to any owners that may not be paying attention to Pillar’s production recently before it’s too late.
