Kenyan Drake Expects To Play A More Versatile Role
3 years agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Kenyan Drake wasn't thrilled about being pigeonholed as an early down back with the Arizona Cardinals and said he expects to play a more versatile role alongside Josh Jacobs in his new home. Head coach Jon Gruden unsurprisingly loves Drake's skill set and versatility, but it remains to be seen how they'll use him in tandem with Jacobs. Drake had a career year in 2020 with 955 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns and 25 catches for 137 yards in 15 games. He'll be more attractive as an RB3/flex in PPR leagues as the likely pass-catching back in Las Vegas, but Jacobs' presence will certainly limit his overall ceiling. Conversely, Drake's presence will limit Jacobs' ceiling as an RB2.
