Kawhi Leonard Leads All Scorers With 31 Points
2 years agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard put in a big performance in Saturday's meeting with Washington, leading all scorers with 31 points in a 102-93 win. He shot 12-for-26 from the field and 2-for-5 from outside. The Kawhi of old was back here, as the two-time Finals MVP added nine rebounds, one assist, three steals and one block to his line in 32 minutes. That's the most he has played this season, and the scoring performance was also Leonard's best of the year. The 31-year-old star kicked off the week with a nice 25-point effort against Boston, so it looks like he's getting close to being back to his best. However, the team is still keeping Leonard on a minutes restriction, and the Clippers certainly won't want to rush things after seeing Kawhi sit out a whole season.
