Kawhi Leonard Bounces Back With 38 Points
1 year agoLos Angeles Clippers guard/forward Kawhi Leonard led all scorers with 38 points in Wednesday's 130-125 overtime defeat against the Lakers. After finishing Tuesday's matchup against Orlando with only eight points, Leonard kicked off the action with an 18-point first quarter, which marks the most points he's ever had inside the opening frame. He did the damage on Wednesday with 15-for-28 shooting, which included a 5-for-11 record from deep. Across 41 minutes of action, Leonard also tallied eight boards, five assists, and two steals. This was a superb performance from Leonard, and the fact that he had no problems logging over 40 minutes during the second night of a back-to-back might just be the most impressive thing about it. Hopefully, the injury-prone star stays clear of health issues this season, and we get to see him in most of the Clippers' back-to-back spots. The next one comes in three weeks' time.
