Kareem Hunt Inactive On Monday Night
3 years agoCleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt (ankle) is officially inactive for the Monday night game against the Pittsburgh Steelers to close out Week 17 action. Hunt was listed as questionable coming into the game, but his season will instead end. It was an injury plagued season for Hunt, and his absence certainly made the Cleveland offense less explosive and versatile overall for much of the year. In eight games played, Hunt had 78 carries for 386 yards (career-high 4.9 yards per carry) and five touchdowns while adding 22 catches on 27 targets for 174 additional yards. Nick Chubb will continue to see the lion's share of the backfield touches and could have a huge game on Monday against a Pittsburgh defense allowing the second-most rushing yards per game (142.7).
