Justin Turner Has Four Teams On His List
4 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers remain optimistic that they can re-sign third baseman Justin Turner. The veteran infielder will only play for a contender and has four possible options, including the Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays. Los Angeles prefers to do a two-year deal, but Turner is hoping for more years in what will likely be the final contract of his career. A return to the Dodgers makes the most sense for the 36-year-old after helping lead the Blue to a World Series title in 2020. He has been one of the team's most valuable players since joining them in 2014, hitting .302 with a .503 slugging percentage and an .886 OPS in his seven seasons with the Dodgers. On top of it, Turner has hit .295 with a .507 slugging percentage and .899 OPS in 72 playoff games with the team. Turner is no longer in his prime, but he should continue to be a consistent contributor at a low price in fantasy drafts, especially since he's likely to be in the middle of a strong lineup with a contending team.
