JuJu Smith-Schuster, Diontae Johnson Miss Practice Wednesday
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) and Diontae Johnson (toe) both missed practice on Wednesday. The Steelers are coming off an unexpected bye in Week 4 after the Titans had a COVID-19 outbreak, so you'd think both Smith-Schuster and Johnson would be rested up, but they both need to be monitored heading into this Sunday's game against the Eagles. If active, you probably shouldn't be sitting Smith-Schuster or Johnson against an exploitable secondary, but you may want to temper expectations if they suit up at less than 100 percent. Smith-Schuster has scored three times in three games, but his target share is a bit of a concern with Johnson emerging as a real threat. The good news is that Johnson has cleared the concussion protocol. We wouldn't recommend sitting either player this weekend if they are active.
