Josh Reddick Slugging .519 Against Left-Handed Pitching
6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick is currently in a 4-for-27 (.148) funk heading into the team's huge series with the Mariners beginning Monday night. Reddick had begun hitting the ball with more consistent authority two weeks ago but has been unable to take advantage of being moved into the heart of the order the past few games. The veteran's inconsistency makes him a difficult play in fantasy despite a favorable matchup for Monday. The Mariners will send to the mound left-handed starter James Paxton and Reddick is slugging .519 against lefties this season through 81 at-bats. Reddick, however, is 0-for-7 lifetime against Paxton, making the outfielder a shaky option for Monday's DFS lineups.
