Josh Donaldson Hitting Fifth In Game 2
2 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Josh Donaldson is at third base and has been moved up to fifth in the batting order for Game 2 of the American League Division Series against the Cleveland Guardians and right-hander Shane Bieber on Friday. Donaldson hit sixth in the first game of the series on Tuesday and went 2-for-2 with two singles and a walk in the 4-1 victory. He's also gone 3-for-10 with two home runs in his career against Bieber. Outfielder Oswaldo Cabrera is moving to the sixth spot with Donaldson moving up in the order on Friday. In 478 at-bats during the regular season, the 36-year-old slugger hit just .222/.308/.374 with 15 home runs, 62 RBI, 59 runs scored and two stolen bases in 132 games in his first year in the Bronx.
