Josh Allen Doesn't Need Surgery, On Track For 2023
2 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (elbow) is on track to be fully healthy for the 2023 season and won't need surgery after fighting through a pretty serious right elbow injury in the second half of 2022. He's progressing well from a partially torn UCL, which forced him to wear a brace for a few games after initially injuring his arm on Nov. 6. The injury isn't as significant as the UCL sprain that kept him out for four games during his rookie season. But the soreness and the brace impacted his mechanics this past season. Allen had a platelet-rich plasma injection at one point and eventually ditched his brace late in the year. The 26-year-old's elbow will be something to watch in the offseason and training camp in the summer, but as long as he's ready to go for the season opener, he should be a top-three QB targets for fantasy managers.
