Lamar Jackson Returns to Thursday's Practice
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (ankle) has returned to practice on Thursday, according to Morgan Adsit of FOX Baltimore. Jackson was listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's practice due to a new ankle injury. The 28-year-old two-time MVP also missed practice with a sore knee last Wednesday before returning to practice on Thursday and playing in the Week 11 win over the Cleveland Browns. The ankle is a new injury for Jackson, but it doesn't appear to be very serious, so he should be active this Sunday for a prime matchup against the two-win New York Jets. Jackson threw four touchdown passes in Week 9 in his return from a hamstring injury that sidelined him for multiple contests, but he has thrown only one touchdown and two interceptions in his last two games, and he has not had a rushing TD since Week 1. Despite a lackluster last two weeks throwing and running the football, Jackson is a prime bounce-back candidate this Sunday against the Jets. UPDATE: Jackson was officially a full-go on Thursday.
