Jordan Westburg Starting Rehab Assignment
Jordan Westburg (hamstring) and outfielder Colton Cowser (thumb) are starting their minor-league rehab assignments with Triple-A Norfolk on Monday. Westburg is finally ready to play in games against after suffering a setback with his hamstring injury earlier this month. The 26-year-old has not played since injuring his hamstring on April 26. It's unclear how long his rehab assignment will last, but when he's ready to return to Baltimore, he figures to return to the starting third base role for the O's. Westburg went 20-for-92 (.217) with four home runs and six RBI in his first 23 games of 2025 after being a first-time All-Star in his second year in the big leagues in 2024. Cowser already started a rehab assignment and could come off the 60-day injured list when he's eligible on Friday. In three games with High-Aberdeen, Cowser went 2-for-9 with a solo home run.
