2 years agoNew England Patriots tight end Jonnu Smith (concussion) returned to practice on Thursday after picking up a DNP on Wednesday. Smith is progressing through the league's concussion protocol, but there's still no guarantee he will be out there in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Buffalo Bills in a must-win game. However, the 27-year-old's return to practice promising for his chances to play this weekend. Smith has once again taken a back seat to Hunter Henry at the tight end position in New England, and he shouldn't be in starting fantasy lineups in DFS or season-long leagues if he's active against Buffalo. He has yet to score this year and has only 27 receptions for 245 yards on 38 targets in his 14 games played.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
