Jonathan Lucroy Providing Zero Offense
5 years agoLos Angeles Angels catcher Jonathan Lucroy continues to struggle heading into the final week before the All-Star break. Lucroy began the season showing flashes of having a bounce back season and slugged .493 in the month of May. The month of June has been a completely different story as the veteran's offense has completely fallen off the map. Over his last 59 at-bats, Lucroy is slashing an unsightly .169/.271/.169 with zero extra-base hits and only two runs batted in. In fact, it has been such a brutal stretch for Lucroy that he has not recorded an extra-base hit since May 24. Lucroy should not be owned in any format and, if continues to struggle, could be looking at reduced playing time.
