Anaheim Ducks goaltender John Gibson (lower body) will be absent again from Friday's matchup against Calgary, but his return isn't far away anymore. Head coach Dallas Eakins hopes to have Gibson back right after the holiday break. The Ducks No. 1 was injured last week in a game and hasn't been able to play since then due to a lower-body injury. Lukas Dostal has taken over the crease, posting a 2-2-0 record. He will try to avoid a third consecutive defeat Friday. Fantasy managers will be hoping that having some time off will help Gibson to turn around his season. He's posted miserable numbers so far, going 5-14-3 with a 3.99 goals-against average and a .896 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
