Joe Mixon Listed As Day-To-Day
3 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (ankle) was deemed "day-to-day" and will be limited in practice early this week, according to head coach Zac Taylor. Mixon was officially diagnosed with a low-grade ankle sprain in last Thursday's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Bengals are optimistic that Mixon has a chance to play in Week 5 against the Green Bay Packers if he looks good in practice this week. The 25-year-old's ankle is not at all related to the foot injury that kept him out for the final 10 games in 2020. Mixon was injured late in the game against Houston last week, so Samaje Perine saw just one carry, with Perine and Chris Evans combining for three catches and 34 yards. Mixon will be a must-start fantasy RB if he's able to play this weekend.
