11 months agoMinnesota Twins first baseman Joe Mauer went 1-for-4 with a triple in his team's 2-0 loss to the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday. Mauer's triple was one of the few bright spots for a Twins team that scraped together just five hits against Carlos Carrasco and Brad Hand on the afternoon. The triple was the first of the season for Mauer, who has just 21 extra-base hits in 77 games this season. Overall, Mauer is batting .276 with three homers, 37 runs, and 33 RBI in 2018. He's nothing more than a low-level fantasy option in AL-only leagues at this point of his career.--Matt Terelle - RotoBaller
