San Jose Sharks left wing Jeff Skinner (lower body) landed on Injured Reserve ahead of Saturday's tilt against the Seattle Kraken. In a corresponding move, the Sharks recalled Zack Ostapchuk from the minors. Ostapchuk will replace Skinner in the lineup on Saturday and is likely to see more playing opportunities going forward, as Skinner will have to miss at least three games. The veteran was hurt during Thursday's loss to the Calgary Flames. Skinner's performance has fluctuated throughout the season, resulting in seven points (four goals, three assists) in 17 appearances. Ostapchuk will join the fourth line, so he is not a player that fantasy managers should be interested in.--Taavi Pailk
