In the main event of UFC 295 on Saturday at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Jiri Prochazka fell short of regaining a vacant light-heavyweight title after being hurt when Alex Pereira unleashed a vicious right hand and a left-hook counter to drop a pressuring Prochazka. The Czech then fell to his back, with Pereira dropping straight into a mount. It was at that moment that referee Mark Goddard waved off the fight. Many on social media have debated whether the fight was stopped early. The UFC commentary team also believed the bout could've gone on longer. In 9:08 of action, Prochazka landed a takedown and 30 significant strikes. With the loss, Prochazka is now 3-1 in the UFC.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller
