Jerry Jeudy Paces Team In Targets Against Eagles
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy led the team with a season-high nine targets in the disappointing 30-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 10. Jeudy ended up hauling in six of his nine targets for 48 yards on Sunday. The 22-year-old second-year wide receiver has seen an increase in targets in each of his three games since returning from a high ankle sprain in Week 8, and it's clear that the Broncos coaching staff is directing the passing attack through him and not Courtland Sutton. Jeudy is an exciting route-runner with great great after-the-catch abilities and has surpassed Sutton as the more reliable WR3/flex. Denver's low-volume passing attack that spreads the ball around could cap his ceiling, though.
