Jean Segura Leaves Game After Being Hit On Forearm
Jean Segura (forearm) was forced to exit Wednesday's game against the New York Mets. He was hit on the left forearm by a Sean Reid-Foley pitch. Alec Bohm entered the game to run for Segura and the team did some shifting to cover Segura's second base post. Segura was 1-for-2 over his first two at-bats on Wednesday. He's off to a hot start to the year, slashing .353/.421/.765 over five games. We should know soon whether or not he's at risk of missing Thursday's series opener against the Miami Marlins.
