6 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura will face Astros right-hander Gerrit Cole Monday night at Safeco Field. It is a huge series as the Mariners try and chase down the Astros for the division lead and need their best players to produce. Segura is hitting only .214 over his last 56 at-bats but has been one of the most consistent players in the Mariners offense this season. Segura is slashing .316/.344/.434 against right-handed pitching this season and is slugging .451 through 51 home games. The All-Star shortstop is worth a look in DFS leagues for Monday as Segura is 8-for-26 (.308) lifetime against Cole with three doubles.--Joey C - RotoBaller
