Jaylen Waddle, Teddy Bridgewater Limited Again
2 years agoMiami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (ankle) and quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (finger, knee) were both limited in practice on Thursday for the second straight day this week. The Dolphins fully expect Waddle to be active on Sunday in the wild-card game against the Buffalo Bills. However, with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) already ruled out and Bridgewater questionable to play with a dislocated pinkie finger and knee injury, Waddle and All-Pro wideout Tyreek Hill will have much lower ceilings against a strong defense. The Dolphins said earlier this week that they were preparing to start rookie Skylar Thompson on Sunday. Thompson would be making just his third career start, so Miami's offense could struggle mightily to move the football this weekend.
