10 months agoNew York Yankees rookie outfielder Jasson Dominguez (elbow) took 20 swings off a tee on Monday in camp, his first time swinging a bat since having Tommy John surgery in September of last year. Dominguez expects to do the same thing again on Wednesday. Up to this point, the 21-year-old outfielder had only been shagging fly balls in the outfield. It's a good step for The Martian, but he has a long ways to go in his recovery from elbow surgery and isn't expected to make his 2024 debut until later this summer. Still, Dominguez is one of the most intriguing outfield prospects in the game and deserves to be stashed in mixed leagues for his power/speed combination.
