Jaren Jackson Jr. Leads All Scorers In Game 1 Against Lakers
2 years agoMemphis Grizzlies forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr. put up a game-high 31 points in Sunday's Game 1 loss to the Lakers. He got off to a good start with eight first-quarter points and also had to play a major role on offense at the end of the game after Ja Morant (hand) was forced to exit the contest. Jackson Jr. finished with 13-for-21 shooting from the field and nailed two of his four attempts from deep. He completed his work with five rebounds, four assists, one steal and two blocks. Jackson Jr. is one of the candidates for the Defensive Player of the Year award, but he has also proven his offensive ability in recent weeks and will look to post his fifth 30-point game in six outings in Wednesday's Game 2.
