Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams (knee), who is the projected top receiver in the 2022 NFL draft, tore his ACL in the College Football National Championship against Georgia on Monday night, according to sources. Doctors think that Williams will retain his sub-4.3-second speed and expect him to make a full recovery after he has surgery within the next 10 days. Williams would've likely been a top-10 pick in April had he not suffered the injury. He'll still be selected in the 2022 draft, but the devastating injury will surely cause him to fall down the draft board. Williams transferred to Alabama after two years at Ohio State and broke out for the Tide in 2021 by catching 75 passes for 1,507 yards and 15 touchdowns. Given his long-term upside after he recovers from his injury, there's a good chance he'll still be selected in the first round.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
