Ottawa Senators defenseman Jake Sanderson (hand) will miss the rest of Game 3 between the Senators and the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday. The Senators' defenseman blocked a shot and did not return for the third period. It is no secret that Ottawa has battled injuries and are now without their top pairing on defense. Artem Zub has only played one period during this entire series. Sanderson came off a stellar performance in Game 2, where he dished out two assists and blocked five shots.
