Jaguars Not Optimistic About James Robinson
3 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars don't sound optimistic that running back James Robinson (heel), who is listed as questionable for Week 9 against the Buffalo Bills, will play Sunday, according to a source. However, the Jaguars will put him through pre-game warmups before making a final decision. If you were planning on starting Robinson, you'll obviously need to make other plans in case he's inactive. The 23-year-old is dealing with a bruised heel suffered in Week 8, and it's a pain-tolerance issue. Carlos Hyde is the next man up to see the majority of the backfield touches, but he'll also be facing a Bills defense that has given up the third-fewest fantasy points per game to RBs in eight weeks. He'd be in the RB3/flex range if Robinson sits. Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozigbo could also mix in.
