Jadher Areinamo Headed to Tampa Bay in Deadline Deal
The Tampa Bay Rays have acquired infielder Jadher Areinamo from the Brewers in exchange for Danny Jansen on Monday. Areinamo, primarily a middle infielder, has impressed this season with 24 doubles, 11 home runs, and 15 stolen bases. Last year, he led the Midwest League in batting average (.301) and doubles (30). At 21, Areinamo has shown his ability to thrive at the High-A level. Keep an eye on his development as the Rays could promote him to Double-A if his progress continues at this pace.
