J.T. Realmuto Out For Series Finale
1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto will take a seat for the series finale on Thursday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Garrett Stubbs will catch right-hander Taijuan Walker and will hit ninth in the batting order against Brewers right-hander Corbin Burnes. Realmuto has only gone hitless in three games in the month of July and is batting .261 (12-for-46) with three home runs, two doubles, nine RBI, a stolen base and 10 runs scored in 12 games for the month. The 32-year-old three-time All-Star is hitting a disappointing .247 (75-for-304) by his lofty standards, but he also has 11 home runs, 21 RBI, a league-high five triples, 37 RBI, 11 stolen bases and 40 runs scored in 84 games as an elite fantasy catcher.
