J.K. Dobbins A Good Fit In Baltimore
5 years agoBaltimore Ravens rookie running back J.K. Dobbins, the 55th overall pick in the second round, had the third-most yards after contact (2,652) in college since 2017 and the third-most last season alone (1,208), according to Pro Football Focus. He had 31 carries of 15-plus yards last season, which was the most in college football, and forced 73 missed tackles on rushes. Sixteen of those missed tackles came in the Big Ten title game win over Wisconsin -- the third-most missed tackles forced by any player in a single game last year. Dobbins is a perfect fit with a Baltimore team that loves to run the football, but Dobbins will lose plenty of touches to Mark Ingram II and Lamar Jackson. The 21-year-old's ceiling might be as a flex in his rookie season, but he's an excellent handcuff for Ingram owners.
