Ivan Barbashev Busy On Thursday
Vegas Golden Knights left wing Ivan Barbashev tallied four points during their 7-5 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday evening. Barbashev tallied his first point in the opening frame on a secondary assist on Nicholas Hague's goal. Later in this frame, Barbashev found the back of the net on the power-play. In the second, Barbashev tallied the primary helper on Keegan Kolesar's strike. Then in the final frame, Barbashev found the back of the net, this time on a tip-in during 5-on-5 play. Entering this contest, Barbashev tallied two points (one goal) over his last four contests. Over his last 12 games, Barbashev has tallied nine points and held a strong +9 rating. He remains a solid option in deeper formats during his recent surge. He will look to continue this offensive production on Sunday against the New Jersey Devils.
