Coming into the 2023 season, the confidence that Front Row Motorsports had in Todd Gilliland seemed to be on shaky ground. Despite having a rookie season in 2022 where Gilliland captured two top-10 finishes and had an impressive 23.2 average finish, Front Row Motorsports decided to let Zane Smith replace Gilliland in six races during this year's schedule. Gilliland has now ran 20 races this year in the No. 38 Ford for Front Row Motorsports, and with an average finish of 19.7, it appears the organization is fully confident that Gilliland is their driver. It was announced today that Gilliland will return to Front Row Motorsports next season and will race all events. After the news broke, Gilliland tweeted out, "Super grateful and excited to continue with [Front Row Motorsports] next season! Being apart of our teams growth has been really cool to see.
