New York Islanders goaltender Ilya Sorokin will make his third start of the season Friday against the New Jersey Devils. The Islanders begin a back-to-back set, and Sorokin gets the first leg, with Saturday's battle against Buffalo reserved for backup Semyon Varlamov. Sorokin has been in dominant form already at the start of the campaign, saving 40 of 42 shots and winning both of his first two starts. He has a chance to register a second consecutive shutout on Friday after keeping the Coyotes at bay with 14 saves on Tuesday. It's an uncomfortable matchup for Sorokin against a team that's full of offensive talent, but he carries a strong 6-3-0 career record against New Jersey, and the Islanders have dropped just five of the last 21 home outings in this matchup.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
