Hunter Hale Scores 21 Points With Six Triples
1 year agoPhoenix Suns shooting guard Hunter Hale had an impressive showing in the Summer League Tuesday, scoring a game-high 21 points with 6-for-12 shooting from behind the arc in an 82-72 loss to New Orleans. He finished 7-for-13 overall from the field, tallying four rebounds and four assists as well in 25 minutes of playing time. Hale, who made his Summer League debut in this game, is an interesting figure who played for three different teams during his college career and who went on to become a pro in New Zealand before landing in Europe. He spent the last couple of seasons with Borac Cacak in Serbia, leading the Adriatic League in scoring in 2022-23. The 26-year-old can clearly put up points in a hurry and that's a good ability to have if you want to make an NBA team.
