Heliot Ramos Hammers Out Three Hits At Double-A
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants prospect Heliot Ramos broke out of a prolonged slump on Friday with three hits. The 21-year-old outfielder slugged his third home run of the season. He also added a single and a double. It was his second multi-hit game in his last three appearances. Ramos is now hitting .304 on the season with a walk rate of more than 13%. He has a 169 wRC+ through 15 games but he's relied heavily on a .412 BABIP as his strikeout rate is hovering near 29% so far. Ramos will likely always have swing-and-miss to his game but if he starts tapping into his raw power more consistently, it will be a worthwhile tradeoff. He's an intriguing dynasty prospect that deserves monitoring.
