2 years agoCharlotte Hornets forward Gordon Hayward (shoulder) still isn't ready to return to action Wednesday against his hometown Pacers. He will be sitting out an eighth consecutive game with a left shoulder contusion. With Hayward missing and the Hornets having suffered various other injuries, Kelly Oubre Jr. has enjoyed a lengthy spell as a starter and Jalen McDaniels has been able to get some very good minutes. Hayward will get his next chance to return Friday versus Cleveland, although we haven't heard anything regarding his recovery and it might take a while until he's back healthy again.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
