Giants Expected To Pursue Graham Gano
7 years agoThe New York Giants are expected to pursue Carolina Panthers impending free-agent place kicker Graham Gano when free agency kicks off March 12, according to a source. Gano has been with Carolina since 2012 and was the kicker when new Giants general manager Dave Gettleman was with the Panthers from 2013-16. The Giants would like to move on from kicker Aldrick Rosas, and Gano earned his first Pro Bowl selection in 2017 by leading the league by making 96.7 percent of his kicks (29 of 30). However, the Panthers could place the franchise tag on Gano and block him from the open market. Gano should be an acceptable fantasy kicker no matter where he is playing in 2018.
