George Springer's Health Will Be Key To Second Half
5 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer is in line for a monster second half when the team opens up a series with the Rangers on Thursday. The only thing that is holding Springer back will be his health. The slugger missed a month with a hamstring injury but was competing for a home run title when he went on the shelf. Springer is having an excellent season, slashing .303/.384/.589 with 10 doubles, 18 home runs and 46 runs batted in through only 59 games. Springer, by far, is posting a career-high in OPS currently and is the most dangerous leadoff hitter in the game. As long as he is healthy, Springer needs to be in all fantasy lineups everyday.
