The Chicago White Sox selected Tennessee pitcher Garrett Crochet with the 11th overall pick in the 2020 MLB draft on Wednesday. Crochet, a left-handed pitcher, fell to the Brewers in the 34th round out of high school in 2017. He suffered a fractured and dislocated jaw last spring and missed three weeks last fall with soreness in his shoulder. But Crochet's fastball has high spin rates and sits in the mid-90s. He also possesses an above-average slider and creates deception with his offspeed offerings. His changeup is also a plus secondary pitch. The 6-foot-6 prospect has a fluid delivery and good arm action, but he'll need to refine his command in the minor leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
