Filip Gustavsson Shuts Out Seattle With 24 Saves
1 year agoMinnesota Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson posted his second shutout of the season in a 3-0 win over Seattle on Sunday. It also marks his fourth win in five starts. Gustavsson, who pushed away 24 pucks on Sunday, has hit form lately, moving to a 6-7-2 record after struggling at the beginning of the season. Following a run of five straight games with two or fewer goals allowed, his goals-against average has improved to 3.05, and he boasts a .900 save percentage for the year. The Swedish netminder appears to be back to his best and should continue to improve his numbers for the rest of the way.
