Filip Gustavsson Faces The Avalanche Wednesday
2 years agoMinnesota Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson will be the starter for the team's clash with the Colorado Avalanche Wednesday. The 24-year-old will be out to improve a 19-9-5 record and will also want to get revenge for a 6-3 suffered against the Avalanche at the start of the season. Gustavsson struggled badly at the beginning of the campaign, but he's been outstanding since overcoming the poor start and has an 8-1-4 record in his last 13 decisions. Gustavsson boasts three shutouts for the season and is second in the league with his .932 save percentage and 2.01 goals-against average. The Wild will definitely need to see the best version of Gustavsson against the defending champions who have dropped only one of their last 10 outings.
