Minnesota Twins closer Fernando Rodney locked down his fifth save of the season on Sunday, preserving a 5-3 win over the Chicago White Sox. Rodney pitched a perfect ninth, notching one strikeout to earn his fifth save in eight chances. The 41-year-old closer found himself on shaky ground in mid April when he blew three saves in a span of two weeks, but he's solidified his role with five straight scoreless outings now. On the season, Rodney has a 3.86 ERA, five saves, and a 12/5 K/BB ratio in 13 innings of work. Despite the recent success, Rodney's fantasy owners will have to live with the possibility of former closer and current Minnesota setup man Addison Reed breathing down Rodney's neck all season.--Matt T - RotoBaller
