5/7:Seattle Mariners starter Felix Hernandez continues to eat innings, but the results have been mediocre through his first eight starts. He has posted a few solid starts along the way but already has surrendered nine home runs through 44 1/3 innings pitched this season. What also is alarming is that he has allowed 12 walks over his last 23 innings and his ERA sits at a bloated 5.28. He has made it through six innings in three of his last five starts, but at this point his reputation supercede's the potential from a fantasy perspective. There are currently better options with higher upside than the veteran Hernandez in fantasy right now.--Joey C - RotoBaller
