11 months agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Felix Hernandez is being moved to the bullpen, according to manager Scott Servais. The veteran hurler and former ace has fallen on hard times the last two years and currently has a cringe-worthy 8-10 record, 5.73 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and career-low 7.2 K/9 in 23 starts for the M's. His 5.73 ERA is also a career worst. King Felix was no longer a trustworthy fantasy starter and will lose whatever little value he had left with the move to relief. He's never pitched in a relief role in his 14-year career. Erasmo Ramirez is close to returning and could join the rotation when he comes off the disabled list.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
