6/7:Houston Astros designated hitter Evan Gattis went 2-for-3 in Wednesday's win against the Mariners, including his ninth home run of the season. Gattis now has eight home runs since May 12 and is beginning to produce for the bottom half of the Houston lineup, albeit one-dimensionally. The Astros play the Rangers on Thursday and will face left-hander Cole Hamels in the series opener. In 31 career at-bats against Hamels, Gattis is hitting .323 with three home runs and overall is slugging .484 this season against left-handed pitching. Gattis has value in daily leagues for Thursday.--Joey C - RotoBaller
