Dylan Beavers Launches Two Home Runs in Second Straight Game
Dylan Beavers continued his impressive power surge at Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday evening. Facing Rochester, the outfielder launched two long balls and scored three runs. During his previous game on August 3 against Memphis, Beavers went 3-for-5 with two round-trippers. Over his last 11 games, Beavers has been one of the most dominant hitters in the entire minor leagues, posting a .359/.545/.949 slash line with an eye-catching seven long balls and two stolen bases. Overall, the 23-year-old has posted a .310/.423/.539 slash line through 86 games with the Norfolk Tides this season. With Ramon Laureano and Ryan O'Hearn being shipped to San Diego, Beavers should be viewed as a high-end stash in all redraft leagues, as he appears to be just days away from a potential promotion.
