This summer has been kind to Erik Jones and the No. 43 Legacy Motor Club team, as they grabbed their fifth top-10 finish of the season at Michigan on Monday afternoon. That makes it four results of 11th-place or better over the last five Cup Series races for this team, and the second top-10 finish over the last three races. Jones currently has an average finish of 19.2 this season, so these good runs as of late have to be a major confidence boost for him and this team. Following the Michigan race, Jones is now tied for the 5th-best average finish (13.3) over the last six Cup Series races. Next up on the schedule is the Indianapolis Road Course, where Jones has finished in 15th- and 7th-place in the two races the series has ran there.--Jordan McAbee
