4 years agoKansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that left tackle Eric Fisher (Achilles) suffered a torn Achilles in the AFC Championship win over the Bills on Sunday, according to a source. Fisher faces a long road to recovery, while the Chiefs will head to their second straight Super Bowl without their standout offensive lineman. It's a big blow to Kansas City's offensive line and the protection of star quarterback Patrick Mahomes heading into the Super Bowl against a nasty Tampa defensive line. Pass-rushers Shaquil Barrett and Jason Pierre-Paul were instrumental in pressuring and sacking Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the NFC Championship.
